Our History

Bradbury Cricket Clun Inc was originally known as Sherwood Hills Cricket Club ( a small suburb in the know known area of Bradbury ). Sherwood Hills Cricket Club first applied to the Camden / Campbelltown Junior and Senior Cricket Associations to become an affiliated club in 1969. It has been since this time that the Club has evolved and has been a registered club in the District in both Junior and senior competitions.

After some time as the suburbs grew Sherwood Hills Cricket Club voted to change the Club name to the more commonly known name of Bradbury Junior and Bradbury Senior Cricket Club. This is the way the club remained and grew of the years fielding both senior & junior teams in all age divisions.

As time changed Both divisions of the Bradbury Club decided the best move was to operate under one banner, thus we become the Bradbury Cricket Club. The club continued to put both senior & junior teams on the field covering ages 7yrs –opens. As things changed with the governing bodiesi.e Cricket NSW Bradbury Cricket Club become incorporated, so we are now known as Bradbury Cricket Club Inc. and we area proud to say we area still offering cricket to all who area interested. Since 2009 we also become involved in the In2Cricket programme – this is a program designed to show children 4 – 10yrs how to play cricket in a fun non competitive way. When we started this program we had 5 children we know have 45 children as of October 2012 enrolled. Bradbury Cricket Club also has a variety of awards that we take great pride in presenting to our members that achieve set goals during the season.
